Flickr photo enclosure feeds

Everybody knows where to find their Flickr feeds (at the bottom of every page) but what you are missing is that those feeds can have image enclosures too!!!
All you need to do is to change the format at the end of the feed URL:
http://flickr.com/feeds/......&format=rss_200
Change the format to rss_200_enc:
http://flickr.com/feeds/......&format=rss_200_enc

And voila! i.meta RSS will present it to you adequatly.

As vlogs (video blog) are becoming more and more popular these days, i.meta RSS supports now feeds with video enclosure. All major formats are supported: Quicktime, RealPlayer, Flash, Windows Media. The nice thing about it is the possibility to view the videos embeded in your i.meta RSS page. Simply by clicking on the corresponding icon the video player opens inline. For saving files localy, a right click and “Save as” will do it.

Comme les vlogs (ou vlogue: vidéo blogue) se répandent de plus en plus, maintenant i.meta RSS supporte les vidéos inclus (fils RSS avec enclosure video) de n’importe quel format: Quicktime, RealPlayer, Flash, Windows Media. Sa grande particularité est de permettre de les regarder dans la même page de votre i.meta RSS . Cela veut dire qu’en cliquant sur l’icône correspondant, le lecteur vidéo ou audio apparaît immédiatement inséré dans la page. Pour sauvegarder les fichiers localement il suffit d’un clique droit sur l’icône et séléctionner “Enregistrer sous”.

Présentation des images RSS en pièces jointes améliorée

Les fils RSS avec images incluses (enclosure) qui étaient déjà supportées par i.meta RSS ont désormais une présentation améliorée grâce à la version modifiée de Tom’s zap_imgpop plugin pour Wordpress.

En effet par un simple clic de souris sur l’icône caméra, vous obtenez la photo dans une “popup layer” selon les dimensions qui s’inscrivent parfaitement dans la taille déterminée par votre navigateur. S’il y a lieu, vous aurez ensuite la possibilité d’obtenir la taille originale de l’image. Faites en l’essai dès maintenant !

Image enclosure enhancement

Feeds with image enclosures are already supported by i.meta RSS but now, thanks to a modified version of Tom’s zap_imgpop plugin for Wordpress, you get a better experience.
With a click on the camera icon you get a neat popup layer with the image zoomed to the size of your browser with the possibility to get the real image size as well.
